This maple cake with pecans is so moist and always a success
Ingredients
250 ml heavy cream
1 cup all purpose flour
1 packet of baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 ts vanilla extract
Maple syrup
Pecans
Instructions
Line a rectangular loaf pan with parchment paper
Preheat the oven to 160c with fan
Mix all the ingredients in one bowl start with whisk together the wet ingredients eggs oil and vanilla
Than you can add the flour baking powder and sugar
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven sprinkle the pecans on top and return to bake for another 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost dry
Remove from oven while still warm slice and drizzle generously with maple syrup.
Serve warm for a soft sweet indulgent cake with crunchy pecans
