This Chocolate cake version will take every chocolate recipe to another level.

Ingredients:
200 g dark chocolate
100 g butter
150 g sugar
100 g flour
3 medium eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1 Preheat the oven to 180C line a round baking pan with parchment paper
2 Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water or in short bursts in the microwave and let it cool slightly
3 In a separate bowl whisk the eggs with sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy
4 Gently fold in the chocolate and butter mixture until combined
5 Sift the flour and salt and add gradually folding carefully so the batter stays light
6 Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 30 minutes The cake should be set on the outside but still soft in the center
Serve it as is or top with extra chocolate cream or a scoop of ice cream.
