Almond Cake

Theres no complicated steps here and you can have this almond cake that is so soft and moist with this nutty flavors that fills the kitchen with a warm smell as it bakes.

Ingredients:
200 g almond flour
100 g all purpose flour
150 g sugar
1 ts baking powder
120 g butter melted
1 ts vanilla
Pinch of salt
3 eggs
Zest of lemon (optional)
Powdered sugar (for topping)

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 180c and line a round baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl whisk together eggs and sugar.
Add melted butter and vanilla extract and stir until smooth.

Combine the almond flour with the all purpose flour and baking powder and add the salt.And fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until you have a smooth batter.
Add lemon zest if you want a little brightness.

Add batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool before dusting with powdered sugar.

This cake doesn’t need anything else, now make yourself a cup of coffee and relax
